How PinPoynt automation works
Read this guide first — no account needed. Follow the steps in order when you're ready to connect. Each connect page has Quick links to Google Cloud, Gemini, Pinterest, and more.
Connect AI (article writer)
PinPoynt turns each keyword into a full article and pin copy. Gemini is free to start.
- Open Google AI Studio → Get API key ↗
- Go to Test AI → paste key → Save
- Click Test AI writer — wait for ✓ Working

Pick one platform. When your first blog connects, automation unlocks automatically (free plan = 1 blog).
Blogger setup (step by step)
- Enable Blogger API ↗ in your Google Cloud project (same project as OAuth).
- Open Google Credentials ↗ → Create OAuth client (Web application) → download JSON.
- Connect Blogger → upload JSON file.
- Add redirect URI in OAuth clients ↗ (PinPoynt shows the exact URL to copy).
- Click Sign in with Google → pick your blog → Connect.
- If Google blocks sign-in: Audience ↗ → External → Publish app → on sign-in click Advanced → Go to app (unsafe).
WordPress setup (step by step)
- Log in to your site admin:
yoursite.com/wp-admin - Go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords (WordPress docs ↗).
- Create password named
PinPoynt→ copy it immediately. - On Connect WordPress enter Site URL, username, and application password → Connect.
Connect Pinterest
Cookie method (fastest): log in on pinterest.com ↗, copy cookies from browser DevTools.
- F12 → Network → reload pinterest.com
- Right-click a request → Copy → Copy Request Headers → paste in Connect Pinterest
- Click Connect Pinterest → Refresh boards → Save a board
API method: create app at developers.pinterest.com ↗ → token with boards:read + pins:write.
Step 1 — Finish setup checklist
Open Auto Flow. Every item in the Setup checklist must be green before autopilot runs.

Step 2 — Add keywords
Paste keywords in the Keyword queue (one per line). Or use Keyword Explorer to find ideas and export to Auto Flow.

Step 3 — Set schedule & daily mix
Choose how many posts per day, when they run, and your timezone.
- Posts per day — e.g. 2 or 3
- Daily mix — Blog + Pin vs Pin only (must add up to total)
- Post times — pick a time for each slot
- Timezone — match where you live
Step 4 — Pick format, blog & board
Scroll to Run settings on Auto Flow.
- Format — Listicle works best for Pinterest traffic
- Language — e.g. English
- Blog — your connected WordPress or Blogger site
- Pinterest board — select from saved boards or paste board ID
Step 5 — Save & turn Autopilot ON
Click Save & enable, then flip the Autopilot switch to ON. PinPoynt checks every ~15 minutes and runs at your scheduled times.

What is Blog + Pin vs Pin only?
Blog + Pin creates a full article, publishes to your blog, and posts a Pinterest pin linking to that post. Pin only skips the blog — it posts the pin image to Pinterest with no click-through link. Set the daily mix on Auto Flow.
Pinterest cookie method — boards not loading?
Log in to pinterest.com in Firefox, press F12 → Network, reload, right-click any pinterest.com request → Copy → Copy Request Headers, paste in Connect Pinterest. Or use Storage → Cookies and copy _pinterest_sess and csrftoken. If boards still fail, paste the board ID manually — Auto Flow works with a board ID alone.
Pinterest — "Bad CSRF token" or cookies not working?
Usually an incomplete cookie copy or values from two different moments. Use Copy Request Headers in one go — do not paste the Cookies JSON panel (starts with {"Request Cookies"}). Copy both cookies without refreshing the page between copies.
Do I need to do anything after enabling autopilot?
No. PinPoynt checks every 15 minutes. When a scheduled time passes, it takes the next keyword from your queue and runs the full pipeline.
Can I run posts immediately without waiting?
Yes. Use Run now (instant) at the bottom of Auto Flow — same pipeline, no schedule.
Who pays for AI and image APIs?
Each user adds their own API keys. Gemini offers a free tier for both articles and images.
